Ir Kenneth Chan is Executive Director of Engineering and Facilities of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl). He launched his career at Hactl as a graduate trainee in 1992.
He leads a team of seasoned professionals, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient operations across Hactl's fully automated cargo handling system. With deep institutional knowledge and a strong service ethos, he plays a vital role in sustaining the operational resilience and service quality in air cargo logistics. Ir Chan also serves as Chairman of the HKIE Logistics and Transportation Division (2025/26), championing innovation, collaboration, and talent development.
Under his leadership, the Division advances cross-disciplinary partnerships, integrates emerging technologies such as AI and autonomous systems, and cultivates future leaders/engineers in the logistics and transportation industry through structured mentorship.
