The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) was established in 1968 as the Chartered Institute of Transport in Hong Kong (CITHK). In July 2001, the Institute was renamed to reflect the complementary and interdependent nature of the transport and logistics sectors, as well as the alignment with the International Institute. CILTHK represents approximately 2,000 transport and logistics professionals in Hong Kong, ranging from senior managers to junior staff, and spanning sectors such as shipping, logistics, airlines, railways, roads, public transport, government, education, and consultancy. Membership categories include Organization and Individual memberships, with designations such as Chartered Fellow (FCILT), Chartered Member (CMILT), Member (MILT), Affiliate Member, and Student Member.
